Colégio Metodista União is a reference in the education of leaders in the frontier of Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil, and Uruguay. The school keeps its tradition and modern pedagogical techniques at the same time. Founded in 1870 by French teacher Aleixo Vicente Vulrod, the Colégio was the first mixed school in the city.
From children’s education to high school, União develops an educational project with an inclusive and interdisciplinary perspective, prioritizing the citizen formation of children and teenagers.
União offers a large infrastructure for sports, arts and culture. The institution counts with a library, science lab, reading and theater rooms, a gymnasium, Núcleo de Informática Educativa and space for theater, judo and dance.
