The Colégio Metodista Izabela Hendrix was founded in 1904 as a girls’ institution and became a mixed school in 1967, reinforcing its tradition of educating leaders in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.
Since its creation, the school stands out for its excellence in teaching, considering education as a process that seeks the development of a critical consciousness for students keeping up its compromise with society’s modernization.
